The 62-Mile Medio course
It is no wonder that the editors of Bicycling Magazine named the Medio course to their list of “The 50 Best Rides in America”. The route takes you through quaint hamlets, alongside chateau-like mansions, secluded lakes, country farms and creek-lined forest roads on its way to Califon and back. Along the way you will be challenged by our two timed climbs (The Doggone Hard Hill Climb at mile 22, and the "But Wait…There’s More!" Hill Climb at mile 34) and plenty of others to test your legs before you get back to Morristown. As your reward along the route, we have lavish rest stops at mile 20, 30 and 50 where you can refuel with the usual PBJ, bananas and PowerBars, or spoil yourself on some of our treats. In previous years we have featured cannolis, home made ice cream sandwiches (a double fudge Brownie cut in half with a scoop of home made vanilla ice cream) and cake pops. We are still working with our local bakeries and pastry shops to figure out what to feature this year.
