Gran Fondo NJ donates $62,500 its five Beneficiaries at the annual Volunteer and Beneficiary Celebration Ceremony.

At last night’s Gran Fondo NJ 2014 Volunteer and Beneficiary Celebration Ceremony, Marty & Bill got to hand out some big checks ($12,500 each) to the five named beneficiaries of the event – The Seeing Eye, Homeless Solutions, Grow it Green, Sustainable Morristown and The New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition. Since its inaugrual year in 2011, Gran Fondo NJ has directly contributed over $165,000 to local charitable organizations, and overall the event has raised over $600,000 for charity.

As part of its ongoing effort to deliver Gran Fondo NJ in a Sustainable manner, Gran Fondo NJ has committed to get the event certified by the Council for Responsible Sport. Doing so will drive the choice of sustainably friendly and environmentally friendly business practices through all levels of the event production management and delivery.
